MOMBI offers 4 quality different master's degree programs in:
1. Master of Counseling/ Problem solving
Problem solving is part of thinking and occurs if an organism or an artificial intelligence system does not know how to proceed from a given state to a desired goal state.
2. Master of Counseling/Marriage Counseling
Marriage counseling is a type of psychological counseling where a married couple meet with the psychologist, social worker or other type of mental health professional for counseling to hopefully heal their marriage. When one of the partners refuses to go to marriage counselling it is usually a sign that party is considering divorce. Marriage counseling can be seen as a type of mediation aimed at conciliation. Some parties who get divorce use a similar process through divorce mediation to determine issues like custody, spousal support and the division of property.
3. Master of Counseling/Marriage, Family and Child Counseling
Marriage and Family Therapists are psychotherapists who treat persons involved in interpersonal relationships. They are licensed to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and children and family systems, as well as assist clients in achieving more adequate, satisfying and productive marriage, family, and social adjustment. The practice also includes premarital counseling, child counseling, divorce or separation counseling and other relationship counseling. Marriage and Family Therapists have graduate training (a Master's or Doctoral degree) in marriage and family therapy and at least two One year of clinical experience.
4. Master of Counseling/Mental Health Counseling
A mental illness is a psychiatric disorder that results in a disruption in a person's thinking, feeling, moods, and ability to relate to others. Psychiatrists generally attribute mental illness to organic/neurochemical causes that can be treated with psychiatric medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle adjustments and other supportive measures
Mental illness is distinct from the legal concept of insanity.
All programs are designed to meet educational and world standards for professional licensure and certification and to enable student to become licensed to practice the above Counseling in any place in the world.
Purpose.
The One-year program (Short-term courses are available for all our programes please contact us) leads to the professional degree Master of Counseling (M.C.). The M.C. program which focuses on various counseling is designed to prepare students for counseling as a profession, and it includes a set of required professional studies supported by elective subjects in related disciplines.
The Master of Counseling degree identifies the recipient as a professional counselor and prepares individuals to work in a
variety of human service fields.
Upon completion of the requirements for the Master of Counseling Degree , the student will be awarded the Master's
Degrees concurrently.
Admission Requirements
The Master of Counseling program admits men and women to have a basic knowledge of English.
In addition, the following prerequisites apply to Master of Counseling applicants. All applicants must:
1. Those who have an interest in Master of Counseling Degree, but do not hold a primary degree or equivalent qualification, may be considered for entry to the Master of Counseling Degree.
2. Students taking courses from MOMBI need an understanding of operating system software and computer hardware and peripherals in order to successfully utilize available resources for research and study.
3. A basic knowledge of Greek or Hebrew is required, and an appropriate knowledge of modern language (English).
NOTICE: If applicants have not previously taken Greek or Hebrew, they may take ID201 Computer Tools for Biblical Exegesis to fulfill the language requirement.
4. Completed personal reference recomendation. (has been aply on the Registration Form).
